From the lodge you can enjoy a lot of activities and see a lot of attractions. You can experience some of the popular attractions including pony trekking, climbing, canoeing, swimming, fishing, walking and biking.

A number of public houses and restaurants are nearby all offer good food and drink and is a few minutes walk from the lodge.



You will find other attractions within a distance of about 5 miles, the South Devon Railway, popular for its steam engines. River Dart Country Park, the Butterfly farm and Otter sanctuary are just a few of the popular attractions all great for families and young children.

Further afield you will find beaches and beautiful coastline stretching through South Devon, reaching Exeter, Plymouth maritime port, Woodlands Leisure, Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Rail and Paignton Zoo.

A lot further away is the Eden Project and Diggerland home to some very big machines, all roughly 40 to 50 miles away from the lodge.
If you find you need a car for the longer trips, then there are many established companies who provide car hire in the UK at no extra cost, for us it was cheaper and easier than the bus and other public transport for the area.
